Fund-Raising Concerts Music and Meditations Concerts Featuring Songs from the CD "A Quiet Afternoon"

How it Works

Music and Meditations is a concert which would feature Tisha Murvihill performing works from her CD, “A Quiet Afternoon”, with meditations on God’s word read between the pieces. In addition to the fund-raising aspect of these concerts, Tisha hopes to minister to those in the audience by bringing them to a quiet place where God can minister to them in whatever way He would choose.

Tisha would charge no fee and would bring CDs for your organization to sell at the event with all proceeds (your sale price minus $8 production costs) from the cd sales going to your organization. In addition to CD sales you may want to either charge admission or take an offering. (Click here for more on what Tisha provides.)

In return she would only ask that all of her expenses be covered, and that your organization take care of providing a space for the concert and bringing in an audience. (Click here for more on what your organization would provide.)

The recommended concert format is as follows:

1. Introduction and opening prayer by host organization 4’
2. Tisha performs pieces from the CD and reads meditations associated with those pieces 25’
3. Host talks about CD and explains fund-raising aspect 3’
4. Intermission for CD sales 15’
5. Tisha performs more and reads meditations 22’
6. Optional offering for additional fund-raising 4’
7. Closing prayer 3’
8. Final Piece 4’

Total Time: 1 hour 20ish minutes
